Bunch of dumplings grannies just grinding They make the buns fresh to order like meat pockets (egg and chive and beef and onion) and steamed baos (pork and Cabbage). Take the meat and dough out da fridge and put it together for you on her spot, so it can take twenty min. Good for takeout too. Frozen dumplings are good, fish and chives, pork and shrimp.

I've been watching Netflix, "The Double" and craving bao and fried stuffed Chinese pancakes. Min min Pie house in Alhambra fit the bill perfectly. This is a very small mom and pop shop that feels authentic. The menu is a lot larger than I anticipated and it was hard to pick just 2 items. I ended up getting the chives and egg "pie" and pork with pickled cabbage bao. It took over 20 minutes to get my order because they had to fry the pie and steam the bao. I like that it's pre-prepped then cooked fresh to order. Both items were simple, delicious, and satisfying. While the food is by no means gourmet, it's simple and flavorful. I noticed that they do a lot of food delivery orders and even have a few dine-in patrons. Portions are generous. The bao comes 8 in an order and the fried pies have 4 to an order. Honestly I think this food will feed me for many meals. Street parking is plentiful and easy to find. A nice find in Alhambra. I'll be back to work my way through the menu.

This place is a hidden gem on Main street in Alhambra. Place is ran by family - I always see mother/daughter duo running the show. I have tried their variety of dumplings and multiple different pies. All good is great and it is made fresh right there. I would highly recommend this place. You cannot go wrong with anything over here. If you like dumplings/pie, you must definitely try this place.

I've been coming here pretty frequently for good reason. The value and tasty food is on point here. Most of the time they are very consistent. All their fried green onion pancakes with eggs or other pan fried dishes like the pan fried pork bun have that hot textured crunch of freshness when you eat it there. I also pick up frozen bags of their premade dumplings as my kids demolish them. It's typically three ladies that run the operation so it can get backed up. That being said they make it when you order so it's worth the wait for that home made freshness. As far as the fried stuff you have to eat there as it's not quite the same Togo, although there have been times it made it home still crispy.
